Our Values

At Valley Vision, our goal is simple; we want to provide lifetime eye care to the people in our community. We want every patient who walks through our door to see better and feel better. We don't just meet expectations, we work hard to exceed them. We're proud to be an independent practice rooted in Brewster, and we're looking for someone who shares that same commitment to the people we serve.

Our Team

Valley Vision is a family-owned, independent optometry practice in Brewster, WA, founded by Dr. Watson and Dr. DeMarco. We're a small, close-knit team that takes pride in delivering great patient care.

Betty has been with Valley Vision for two years and is a familiar face in the Brewster community. She serves as Secretary on the Brewster Chamber of Commerce board and brings that same community spirit to our optical department every day.

Liz has been with us for over a year as our office assistant. Her family has deep roots in Brewster; they run a farm where they raise animals and garden, and she brings that same hardworking, grounded energy to our team.

Llesenia is our newest team member and our receptionist. She keeps the front desk running and we're so glad she's part of the family.

Dr. Watson is a co-owner and founding optometrist of Valley Vision. Outside of work he's a dad to two young boys, a woodworker, a camper, and a home brewer.

Dr. DeMarco is a co-owner and founding optometrist of Valley Vision. She loves camping, fantasy books, and her one-year-old dog who she absolutely adores.

Danielle is our practice manager and the glue that holds everything together. She keeps operations running smoothly behind the scenes and is always there when the team needs her. Outside of work she's a mom to two boys and enjoys gardening.

Our remote team rounds us out ; Ricka is our billing and reception powerhouse, Camila brings bilingual support to our patients, Fatma assists with back office tasks, and Miguel supports optical and reception. Several of them have been with us over a year and are a huge part of what makes Valley Vision run.

Our Culture

Valley Vision moves fast. We're a small office, which means you can literally look up and see when a teammate needs a hand; and we all pitch in without being asked. Communication is a big deal here. We have weekly team meetings to stay aligned and make sure nothing falls through the cracks.

But it's not all business. We celebrate together too. From pumpkin painting to gingerbread house decorating to painting nights, our quarterly team events are something we all look forward to. If you're someone who likes to work hard, support the people around you, and actually enjoy who you work with; you'll fit right in here.

Who should join our team?

Valley Vision is not for everyone ;  and we mean that in the best way.

We move fast, we expect a lot, and we have high standards. If you show up, do your job, and support your team, you will thrive here. Most people who join us stay for years. We've watched team members go on to nursing school, surgical assisting programs, and beyond; and we cheered every single one of them on. We believe in supporting your personal goals, funding continuing education, and being flexible when life happens. We value work-life balance and family because we're a family ourselves.

But we also have expectations. We expect you to show up. We expect you to be present and engaged while you're on the clock. We expect you to help your teammates without being asked. If that sounds like you, you'll likely be with us for a long time.

For those who go above and beyond, we show up for you too ; think overnight trips to Silverwood or a training weekend in Seattle. We reward the people who earn it.

Reception is one of the hardest roles for us to fill because it takes a specific kind of person ; someone who can multitask, communicate clearly, connect with patients, and keep up in a fast-moving small office. If that's you, we want to hear from you.
